A new course has been developed by ECO Canada, for newbies entering the world of environmental protection and environmental law.  Or maybe just for those who want to know a bit more about the regulations associated with protection of the environment and human health.  

You can check out a free preview of one of their modules - it provides high level information on some key federal acts, and direct links to related websites for each act that is covered in the full program - note that you can only preview 5-6 topics each time you open the preview, and you won't get to review the whole module, but it's a good sampler.

If you want to learn more detailed information about the Canadian Environmental Assessment process, you can read a LOT as posted on the CEAA website, and also investigate their course options.  There are many others who offer training, but this might be a good place to start.
